References to Sam Blue's original name are all over the place (I have seen at least three different spellings) so until there is a definitive verifiable answer it seems wrong to include them. Solonyc (talk} 16:30, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
- Found verification on his management website and corrected link. If this is another stage name I may give up. Will add to discography when I can. Solonyc (talk} 17:22, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
Christened Simon Blewitt, first knickname Sam. Stage name Sam Blue, came about in 1985-86, when joined LA Secrets in London. It was decided Sam Blue was a better stage name. Basically a joining of 2 knicknames. Blue or Blewy was knickname at school. Sam Blewitt is credited on some sessions, usually a misunderstanding between client and agent. The idea was to seperate the session side and artist side as this was often frowned upon by labels in late 80's and 90's.
