Bacile / Nakuola
[edit]the main gist of the Bacile story is around the direction and initial distribution of the movie Innocence of Muslims (and its nexus of names and collages); not around that fraud Nakoula Basseley Nakoula who is likely unable to give direction to things. - Reliable sources have now stated that Sam Bacile is a pseudonym used by Nakoula Basseley Nakoula as a cover. Why the revert ?! Unflavoured (talk) 06:42, 14 September 2012 (UTC)
- You did not say which reliable sources you are relying on? Ottawahitech (talk) 14:24, 14 September 2012 (UTC)
- C'mon people! This should lead to a person, and not film. User who click on this wants info about the person, and not the film. And we do have a lot of reliable sources about this link. This is only one. --WhiteWriterspeaks 21:09, 14 September 2012 (UTC)
- The only source that says it knows for sure is pro-government-biased. At least redirect to Innocence of Muslims, as long as we know almost for sure only one thing: Sam Bacile is a pseudonym, a user name (possibly used by many). Not notable otherwise. Could as well have been in full use by his brother-in-law alias son Abano(u)b. We simply don't know now. Wakari07 (talk) 21:23, 14 September 2012 (UTC)
- I appreciate your attempt at having am informative disambiguation page, but it is not very helpful in this case. Based on many sources, the latest of which is this: [1], and I quote: "Nakoula had originally used the pseudonym Sam Bacile, telling reporters he was an "Israeli Jew" and that the film had cost about $5,000,000, which came from wealthy Jewish friends", I am going to revert back to the redirect to Nakoula. There is no reason for the disambig to the movie: People who search "Sam Bacile" want to know who he is. If in the future the two articles (Nakoula and the movie) are merged, then it would make sense to redirect to the movie. As it stands, with Nakoula having his own page, Sam Bacile should redirect there. Unflavoured (talk) 02:33, 18 September 2012 (UTC)
