The Salvia divinorum article does not deserve its GA status for a number of reasons:
- It is US-centric
- It has dead external links
- At 140kb it may too long, although the refs take up a lot of space.
- Breaking the article into the plant and the drug topics (as per cannabis) is probably a good idea. The drug use is likeley to be of more interest to readers than the botanical information.
- Having seperate section for UK and US news refs seems odd.
- There is an overuse of section headings
- The "Heat gun vaporizing" needs copy editing, reads like a how to guide and mentions a device that may be non-notable and goes unexplained.
I have recently split Legal status of Salvia divinorum in the United States aout of Legal status of Salvia divinorum since the latter also suffered from systemic bias. -- Alan Liefting (talk) - 18:59, 30 May 2011 (UTC)
- Most of the concerns seem to have been addressed based on the history. As such I'm closing this as kept; if you disagree then open up a community reassessment so others can provide opinions. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 18:30, 29 August 2011 (UTC)
