Crowning
[edit]I would like some explanation of canonical crowning. At the moment, the phrase links tp Papal bull, which doesn't explain it.06:33, 22 August 2013 (UTC)
Were crowns added to the icon? If so, when? - Michael B.
- Yes, and then removed some time after 1954. The crowns and jewellery were metal attachments, not painted. Don't know when they were added. Johnbod (talk) 14:31, 23 October 2017 (UTC)
