Why include the bit about sending for fabric?
[edit]The second (of two) paragraph in the History section says that someone (Lady Saltcoat) sent her brother a letter asking her to send fine cloth for dresses. It provides no meaningful history or connection to Saltcoats Castle. I presume the implication is that the message was sent from the castle, but that certainly is not explicit in the text. The only way that this could be seen as meaningful in this context would be to clarify that and then indicate that this provides evidence of the castle being inhabited at least as early as 1601, the year the letter was dated.
