[edit]There were 3,206 households out of which 31.9% had children under the age of 50 living with them, 0% were married couples living together
Did the census really define children as people under 50? I really don't believe there are NO married couples living in the 3,206 households in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.

I don't think there are 16 billion households in Sallisaw. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.61.166.10 (talk) 13:59, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
Mention of Sallisaw in Nirvana song
[edit]I removed, "In the Nirvana (band) song, Come as You Are (Nirvana song), Kurt mentions Sallisaw." I don't think Sallisaw is in the lyrics. AnnaJune (talk) 23:26, 16 January 2011 (UTC)

Article reclassification
[edit]There have been a number of additions to the content of this article since the comment above. I believe the content is now "substantial", though admittedly the definition is broad enough to vary among editors. I am renominating this for Class C. Bruin2 (talk) 18:42, 14 October 2016 (UTC)
Trainstation Transportation
[edit]Economically Smart Transit for locals in need.
Thoughts or suggestions on a carpool boxcar with local railway authorities. Would save emissions on travel from county to county for rural citizens. A low cost effort for lower and middle class families. Not to mention creating job security for railroad workers and local co-miners and their families! Save the vehicles for days off and family travel. 23.236.23.44 (talk) 01:05, 21 March 2024 (UTC)
