However, one might add that Salim Barakat writes in Arabic and academics in Europe, who make a sharp division between Arabic and Persian studies in the departments of their universities, do not concern themselves with Barakat's Islamic or Persian sources or take into account that Islamic poets may write on Islamic subjects in a language of their choice. @Aviva Butt: You seem to be opening your comments with double-brackets, which is normally reserved for invoking templates. This is not a useful convention to adopt and will result in confusion. Please follow the normal convention of signing your comments with ~~~~. But you don't need to sign edit summaries.
