@StateReporter Did you even bother reading my edit summary before reverting? Like I said, you've hardly provided any page numbers or links to your sources, meaning we can not check them for verifiability. As for "Salih Ibn Mansur is first mentioned in Islamic history books after the founding of the Emirate of Nekor in the year 710. The 9th century geographer and historian al-Ya'qubi provides the first ever description of the Emirate of Nekor in his well-known and classical Islamic history book Tarikh al-Ya'qubi. In his book, al-Ya'qubi mentions that Salih Ibn Mansur was a Nefzi, a name which referred to Riffian clans at the time", this is WP:OR. Skitash (talk) 18:32, 19 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

There's no need to be rude. Yes, I've read your summary, but if you keep using abbreviations, there's a chance not everybody will understand them.
As for you mentioning WP:OR, this is invalid as per the following:
On Wikipedia, original research means material—such as facts, allegations, and ideas—for which no reliable, published source exists
The source, Tarikh al-Ya'qubi, written bij the geographer and historian Al-Ya'qubi is a well-known and classic history book in the Islamic and Arab world.
In addition, you've stated the following:

The sources used are mainly preliminary sources, i.e books. When inserting such a source, there's no option to add a link. I could try and change the source type to a website, instead of a book if you wish.
So, Skitash, if I would include page numbers and a link to the original (published) eye witness source (i.e. a book), would that mean the page wouldn't be reverted again?
