What about MPs from Scotland and Northern Ireland? Shouldn't the article cover all of the UK?

Should someone put in that it was Kier Hardie, the head of the Independent Labour Party who first pushed for salaries for MPs. He argued that not being paid meant that men of his class could not afford to be MPs. JHobson3 (talk) 16:27, 20 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Is £815k accurate here? Tried looking into it myself and the answer I found falls more near £165k using in2013dollars.com, which I guess might not be accurate but even so that's a massive difference? Bradeurs (talk) 15:27, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
