Mermaid Saga influence

I read here that "he was an admirer of the works of Rumiko Takahashi in particular her horror manga Mermaid Saga", and I planned to add it to Mermaid Saga. However, I decided to check the given source and I found no mention to the manga specifically, only to Takahashi. I saw that Tyrosian added it on this addition, so I ask them to if it's indeed there or not (my Google Translate version says no). If it's not, may it be in another source?
