The result of the move request was: Semi-arbitrarily moved by nominator to Saint Francis River (Canada–United States) as per the good suggestions here. (non-admin closure) Red Slash 17:14, 5 February 2014 (UTC)
Saint Francis River (Saint John River) → ? – I don't know what the best title for this page is, but this surely can't be it. --Relisted. Armbrust The Homunculus 01:58, 30 January 2014 (UTC) Red Slash 16:35, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
- Comment old move (moved Talk:St. Francis River (Maine) to Talk:St. Francis River (Saint John River): river is bi-national, disambiguate by parent river) seems reasonable. Saint Francis River (US Canada border), Saint Francis River (tributary of the Saint John River). In ictu oculi (talk) 05:48, 21 January 2014 (UTC)
- Could we do Saint Francis River (Quebec–Maine)? I'd think geography is a better disambiguator than its mouth, especially since this river doesn't empty into the only Saint John River I'm familiar with (the St. Johns River). Red Slash 01:37, 22 January 2014 (UTC)
- Any of these in red would be an improvement. But the river flows alongside/through two Canadian provinces, not just Quebec. In ictu oculi (talk) 07:48, 30 January 2014 (UTC)
- How about Saint Francis River (Canada and the United States)? The dab page lists three other rivers by this name. One is entirely in Canada, and the others are entirely in the US, so this name is unambiguous, if a bit long. --BDD (talk) 18:34, 30 January 2014 (UTC)
