[edit]It doesn't make sense to use Sailor Moon (season 1) when its target, List of Sailor Moon episodes (season 1), already has the dab term "Sailor Moon". It isn't that we're piping a link. There's just no necessity for a redirect. Lord Sesshomaru (talk • edits) 01:02, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
- The name of that season is "Sailor Moon". This page exists to disambiguate things that are named "Sailor Moon". The title of the article isn't the important part; the title of the thing is important. If not, there's no reason to have a disambiguation page in the first place. --Masamage ♫ 01:31, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
- I'm aware, but there is no article titled "Sailor Moon (season 1)", "Sailor Moon (arc)", "Sailor Moon Classic", etc. Your revision doesn't quite make sense, and I can't find a precedent to support this. What do you mean 'there's no reason to have a disambiguation page in the first place'? Lord Sesshomaru (talk • edits) 01:47, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
- It's perfectly appropriate to use a redirect when doing so demonstrates the database term. This should be a list of everything exactly titled "Sailor Moon," and relegating one of those things down to the "see also" section doesn't make sense. --Masamage ♫ 02:13, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
- Masamage, I'm starting to think that you've misinterpreted the guidelines. Can you provide a disambiguation sample to support your view? Lord Sesshomaru (talk • edits) 02:58, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
- Uh. Every disambiguation page in existence. Try Mercury, which doesn't relegate anything to the "see also" section except other disambiguation pages, or Lord of the Rings (film), which includes everything that could conceivably fall under the DAB term. I am totally confused about what you're trying to accomplish. ---Masamage ♫ 23:57, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
- You're confusing me. Have you seen Gouki, Pluto (disambiguation), Usagi, Buu, Goku (disambiguation) or Bunny (disambiguation)? I'm just trying to keep the pages to MOS:DAB standards. Lord Sesshomaru (talk • edits) 04:26, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
- By those examples, everything in the see also section shouldn't be. Obviously we need some more people to come in and look at this. --Masamage ♫ 07:01, 8 July 2008 (UTC)

(←) I had a look at some of the relevant guidelines, and the most important of them seem to be WP:MOSDAB. According to it:
- The page should start with: "Sailor Moon may refer to:"
- That should then be followed by a bullet list in which
- The article name is given in full, ("Entries should not be pipe linked — refer to the article name in full."—except if this is done due to technical limitations) and a brief description should be given.
- There may be a "See also" section which can include:
- Terms which can be confused with Title, for example New Market and Newmarket
- Likely misspellings of Title, for example Belmont, Belmonte and Bellmont
- Different forms of Title, for example Splitting, Split (disambiguation), and Splitter
Recommendations:
- Convert the page to a single bullet list.
- Add descriptions.
- Remove unnecessary links: I do not understand why the chapter list is linked to. This is done via the main page and the navigation template (I hope).
- List them in the order in which these links are most likely to be searched.
- Remove "see also". It does not seem to be applicable in this case.

- That all sounds fine to me. I'll give it a whirl. Thanks for the advice! --Masamage ♫ 00:31, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
- No problem. It is much better now. G.A.S 17:16, 13 July 2008 (UTC)
