[edit]Since July 2007, more material has been added to the Saifuddin Soz page (High Importance according to WikiProject India). More citations have been added from well respected resources including the Library of Congress and eminent newspapers such as The Hindu. Yet, the page header indicates more citations are needed and that this is a stub class page. I would like to request an assessment of this page. Many thanks. Book: Kashmir Glimpses of History and the Story of Struggle
[edit]Soz launched his book "Kashmir Glimpses of History and the Story of Struggle" at the India International Centre on 25th June 2018. The book was released in presence of former Union Minister Arun Shourie, former High Commissioner of India to the UK Kuldeep Nayar and former Chairperson of the National Commission for Minorities Wajahat Habibullah.[1]
In the book, Soz has said that there are three main stakeholders to the solution in Kashmir: the people of Jammu and Kashmir, India and, Pakistan. In his view, because the Hurriyat Conference has been a representative of the fury among Kashmiris, the Union of India must initiate dialogue with its leaders. The book also talks about History of Kashmir, Travelers to Kashmir, Afghan Rule in Kashmir 1752-1819 among other 33 chapters including The Pandit Exodus.
The book is published by Rupa Publications India Pvt. Ltd. [2]
