[edit]Safety statement is the name given to a document that outlines how a company or organisation manages their health and safety. The term is used in the Republic of Ireland and is based upon the legal requirement set out in the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act, 2005 although it was also a requirement in the original (but now revoked) Act of 1989. The document is primarily based on the risk assessment of workplace hazards.
