Information not supported by sources
[edit]The sentence:
"Only in 1718, the Venetian senate sent a letter to the Safavid emperor Shah Sultan Hussein, asking him to protect the members of the Capuchin order and the Catholic Armenians in Tbilisi from the attacks of the Gregorian Armenians."
is referenced by Giorgio Rota (2012). Safavid-Venetian diplomatic relations. London: L. B. Tauris & Co Ltd. p. 152, however the link gives a chapter that starts on page 580 and a cursory search does not mention Tbilisi, Sultan Hussein, Capuchins, and 1718(once) but not about Armenians. Would like a clarification on where this information originated.
There are other uses of the Rota source also with page numbers ranging around 150-153. Clearly these page numbers are incorrect.
Also, why does this link for Ahmad Guliyev (2022). Safavids in Venetian and European Sources (PDF). Venice: Edizioni Ca’ Foscari, end up at some Azerbaijani government site?[1] --Kansas Bear (talk) 22:27, 12 October 2022 (UTC)
