Her Influences in Nepali Film songs Sadhana Sargam is a popular name for nepali audiences as well. She was introduced to Nepali playback singing by renowned nepali music director Shambhujit Baskota through a maithali song 'Yahi thaiyan Tikuli haraa gele daiya re' in Nepali film Lobhi-Papi. Since, she has song hundreds of songs in Nepali. Her Nepali pronounciation is almost perfect so a bit difficult for even nepali audiences to recognise her as an Indian singer. She has song for both films and private albums with Nepali singers Udit Narayna, Prakash Shrestha, Rama etc. as well as well known Indian singers like Kumar Sanu, Suresh Wadekar, Jagjit Singh.

Her few hit numbers in Nepali are as follows: 1. Sundariko manma basne ko hola with Kumar Sanu 2. Tikuli Hai mero [super duper hit] 3. Guransa fulda [super hit] 4. Mai mori lai lina paradesi auchha re [ super hit] 5. Kaha chhau kaha with nepali singer Rama 6. Sapanako bato with nepali singer Prakash Shrestha 7. Kasto Maya dekhe aaja 8. Julke ko gham both with jagjit Singh 9. jindagani Darpan chhayan [super duper hit] 10. timi hunchha vana, bagaincha ma najau timi and many with udit Narayan She is the only Indian singer who has sung a large numbers of nepali songs. Her interview was also broad casted by Radio Nepal in 1994. Due to her perfect pronounciation new generation thinks as her a Nepali singer which is a great compliment for her.

Dear Sir, Myself Dr.Vaibhav Bhide an ardent fan of Sadhana Sargam. I noticed that information regarding topmost playback singer is incomplete. So please add more information. I often meet Sadhanaji in various concerts and music audio release functions. Her Birthdate is 7th March which you mentioned is 14th March is absolutely wrong. You can verify her birthdate. Even in Marathi leading newspapers her birthdate often published. Also i want to join for registred editors as i willl give you all details of singer from childhood to till her musical journey and awards and albums and songs. Kindly accept and waiting for your permission for more information about SS.

Not done: A couple reasons: 1. Without a reliable source to change the birthday, did not see one on my quick search, I am not going to change it. 2. If you want to modify the article yourself that is something you should request at Wikipedia:Requests for permissions/Confirmed or else you can make a few more edits on the pages that you can and once you hit 10 edits and 4 days of being a user you will become auto-confirmed. You can also continue using the edit template with exact things you wish to be change and someone will be along to look at them. Welcome to Wikipedia. The 15,000 number is clearly wrong and doesn't match the provided citations. Also Asha Bhosle has a Guinness record with ~11,000 recordings.
