Remarried couples
[edit]The document notably confirmed the Church practice of not allowing re-married couples to communion, something which is forbidden since re-marriage is canonically considered to be a form of adultery, and all consequent sexual relations are prohibited, the newly formed couple being obliged to remain celibate as Brothers and Sisters in Christ. Ars celebrandi
