Article title

Although articles for Miyazaki's Ghibli Museum shorts, like Kujiratori, Koro no Daisanpo etc, have rōmaji titles, this article may require an English title, like The Journey of Shuna, and a redirect for Sabaku no Tami. Question. Which English title? Is the translation by Beth Cary and Frederick L. Schodt given in Starting Point, page 438 - People in the Desert (manga) perhaps the best candidate if a change is required? Verso.Sciolto (talk) 14:24, 5 March 2014 (UTC)

Mangaka

The text in the article makes appropriate use of a piped link by using an easy to understand English word, cartoonist, to direct to an article about Miyazaki's childhood dream profession. The linked article in the re-direct is still titled Mangaka. Cartoonist is an English word used by the Japanese Cartoonist Aassociation (JCA) to name itself in English and is therefore an acceptable translation of the word Mangaka. Furthermore Mangaka in the text body is italicised as per current guidelines for originally foreign words, and it is clear from the context of the preceding lines that the word mangaka refers back to cartoonist. I suggest that the editor, TheFarix, who keeps making the changes in the text of this article - and similar articles - goes to the Mangaka article talk page to initiate a discussion to reach consensus on the usage and/or possible alternatives for the word mangaka, as previously requested. That is the appropriate place for such a discussion since a previous discussion already exists there and the changes clearly affect articles throughout Wikipedia.
