I'm a Saab sales rep in Canada.

The Saab 9-7x was made available at dealers in Canada as of June 1. A limited number of 2005 models (50) was made available and has, by all accounts, sold out as of mid-July. A technician at the Saab store in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada notes that the 5.3 litre V8 installed in the 2005 model, though not a 'displacement on demand' engine (a feature officially available on the 2006 model) is fully equipped with all the hardware for displacement on demand...presumably a software upgrade would enable the feature.

The 6 cylinder model for 2006 will be uprated to 290 hp.

Stereo Output Claims

Is there any source on the claimed watt output of the Bose sound system in the Saab 9-7x?
