Specific concerns
- Not enough to hold up GA status, but do we have articles on the various classes of passengers? Might link to them, if so. If not, consider writing one.
- There one for first class travel (which, naturally doesn't apply here) but none I'm aware of the second- or third-class. — Bellhalla (talk) 16:40, 8 March 2009 (UTC)
- Suggest getting a citation for "For this duty, the liner was equipped with canvas-and-wood replicas of Tiger's guns, and her crew had to stow them whenever approached by neutral ships. The ship was also overloaded with ballast to make the ship ride lower in the water to match the profile of the real Tiger."
- That was from the Cropley work, and accidentally left uncited. — Bellhalla (talk) 16:40, 8 March 2009 (UTC)
- I take it no one died when she sank? You say "some of her crew" but don't mention what happened to the rest of them.
- No reports of deaths. I gather from snippets from Google books (unable to see for sure) that Merion and other liners so converted, were stationary. If that's true, I imaging she was very lightly crewed. — Bellhalla (talk) 16:40, 8 March 2009 (UTC)
- Is her wreck diveable? (This information isn't required for GA, more curiosity and wouldn't be a bad bit to mention if known.)
- I've not found anything. — Bellhalla (talk) 16:40, 8 March 2009 (UTC)
- Nice, neat little article. Just the concern over the sinking bit is holding it up.
- I've put the article on hold for seven days to allow folks to address the issues I've brought up. Feel free to contact me on my talk page, or here with any concerns, and let me know one of those places when the issues have been addressed. If I may suggest that you strike out, check mark, or otherwise mark the items I've detailed, that will make it possible for me to see what's been addressed, and you can keep track of what's been done and what still needs to be worked on. - Thanks for the review and the kind words. I've interspersed replies above. — Bellhalla (talk) 16:40, 8 March 2009 (UTC)
