Merge some text with other pages?
[edit]This article is excellent and much better written than LexA and RecA. Should the text from those pages be removed and the reader directed to this article instead?--Cank 22:06, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
Witkin
[edit]The text on this page completely overlooks the contributions of Evelyn M. Witkin. --Peta 04:10, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
Only in prokaryotes?
[edit]I assume this process only takes place in bacteria since this article is part of the Microbiology project, but it doesn't explicitly say so.Koifishkid (talk) 19:49, 6 March 2012 (UTC)
Commercial?
[edit]Someone wrote a section on genotoxicity testing. It seems to be written by someone who is writing to advertise commercial products in violation of wiki policy per WP:NOTADVERTISING. Can someone who knows more about this field decide if this entry is appropriate for this page, and rewrite this section so that it is a more general description of genotoxcitiy testing, or delete it if it is not important enough. I deleted the outright advertising blurp, but don't know if what's left is OK. Hzh (talk) 19:21, 5 April 2012 (UTC)
