Additional Information - Editing HELP please!

[edit]

Hi - can anyone help me improve this listing?

Sorry - I'm new to all this but I have additional information regarding UB 98. It was surrendered by the Germans and handed over to the Royal Navy in Harwich in 1919, where my grandfather (1st Lieutenant G H F Owles of the Royal Navy) served on her under the command of Lt Blount RN as the Royal Navy sought to ensure they had learned everything possible of the German's submarine technology before breaking her up.

My grandfather had served on HMS Princess Royal at the Battle of Jutland and went on to become Captain G H F Owles, DSO, DSC, RN and was SOLST (Senior Officer, Landing Ships, Tanks) at the D day landings.

In addition I have a photo of UB 98 but do not know how to get it added - it would be much better than the current picture which is only of a 'type similar' U Boat.

I also have one of the propellers from one of UB 98's torpedos, mounted as a trophy before she was broken up!

Please can some kind soul let me know how to do all this and get this information stored and shared for all to see?!

Thank you.
