Hi! I have elected to review this article against the Good article criteria, and should have my initial comments posted up shortly. Cheers, Abraham, B.S. (talk) 23:54, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
- I have completed reviewing this article against the criteria and am placing it on hold pending a few concerns outlined below. Cheers, Abraham, B.S. (talk) 00:10, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
- It is reasonably well written.
- a (prose): b (MoS):
- "U-30 departed on her first patrol on 26 February for patrol off Cape Matapan and the Gulf of Taranto." - The repetition of "patrol" just doesn't sit well. Would it be possible to slightly re-word this?
- Yes, I've reworded it. — Bellhalla (talk) 04:32, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
- "Gibson and Prendergast report that there is no evidence ..." - It should probably be clarified who Gibson and Prendergast are.
- That would help, wouldn't it? :) Added context. — Bellhalla (talk) 04:32, 17 February 2009 (UTC)

- It is factually accurate and verifiable.
- a (references): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
- Cites #4 and #10 require access dates.
- That was an artifact from recent changes to {{cite web}}, which no longer uses the parameter "accessdaymonth". Now fixed. There's a bot going around and fixing these; guess it hadn't gotten here yet… :)
- I figured that must have been the case. Abraham, B.S. (talk) 05:41, 17 February 2009 (UTC)

- I assume there are no images available? It would be nice if one was included, but the infobox will suffice if not.
- None I'm aware of for U-30. There is a fair use image of U-27 at that sub's launch. — Bellhalla (talk) 04:32, 17 February 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for the review and the helpful suggestions. I think I've addressed them all. — Bellhalla (talk) 04:32, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
