Number of cars

[edit]

The number of cars in the first paragraph states that there's 270 cars. In the infobox, it says the formation is 6 or 9 cars. Either, a car is the whole body (then there's a total of 270 cars, in formation of "2 or 3"), or a car is only the static parts between the flexible parts (then there's a total of 810 cars, in formation of "6 or 9"). Using the same name for different things in the same article isn't ... good.

And of personal experience, I know that there's 270 "vagnar" that goes in formation of "2 or 3 "

More details:
The article, number built/in service, a car is the whole 3-part (total of 3 on each train).
Formation, Doors, Weight(?), a car is each part of the 3-part (total of 9 on each train).
This confuses me a lot.

There have been 270 cars delivered to SL but when the trains are operating, they typically operate in formations of 6 or 9 cars per trainset. A car is one "carriage" or "vagn". Kuname (talk) 13:29, 8 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
