SLC5A2 → SGLT2 – Usage of SGLT2 is much more common (compare [1] and [2]). Also SGLT2 is more consistent with the corresponding drug class of SGLT2 inhibitors. --Relisted. George Ho (talk) 21:57, 4 June 2015 (UTC) Mikael Häggström (talk) 15:10, 28 May 2015 (UTC)
- Support: The current title is the name of the gene but our article is primarily about its product protein. And according to PubMed and Google Scholar searches SGLT2 is a more common term than SLC5A2, so WP:COMMONAME would favour the former. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 11:41, 6 June 2015 (UTC)
