I’ve made some changes, primarily to the introductory paragraph, in an effort to make it a little more clear. I hope I’ve kept it at least as accurate as it was before while at the same time adding a bit more context by explicitly mentioning source code and header file. I’ve also reduced the amount of boldface used in the article; the Manual of Style advises italics for words used as words, which is the subject of the “Etymology” section. If there are no objections to what I’ve done, I plan to make similar changes to the rest of the signal articles mentioned in the {{Computing signals}} template. After that, I plan to revamp the {{signal}} template to make it look and behave a little more like a normal infobox. --Rob Kennedy04:06, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
