Importance
[edit]SIGCHI is the leading organization in Computer Human Interaction. I has been around since 1982, and in fact created the field.
It hosts the major annual HCI conference CHI, with around 2500 attendees.
It publishes the main publications on HCI: interactions, and Transactions on CHI.
