Notable Alumni and Past Students

[edit]

I think we should start a section about notable alumni that attended this high school. The problem is that it is very hard to find good references for these people

I cant seem to find why this person was famous. Professor Doctor J.L.Ratcliff

I am wondering how the majority of students are dependents of the US Military, yet 50% of the students are dependents of other NATO groups. Some fuzzy math there. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Aztec 100 (talkcontribs) 07:05, 21 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've edited the service ranks for consistency, as some were in full, others abbreviated, most shown as title and one as a suffix.

As for "Sir Prof Dr J L Ratcliffe": this name is completely incorrect stylistically. Knights have "Sir" inserted immediately before their Christian name (it is not used with initials, and is not applicable to honorary knighthoods awarded to non-Commonwealth subjects) and every Professor I've ever met had a doctorate, none of them used both titles (other than in the style "Dr ________ _____, __________ Chair Professor of _________". If only I could find out what the J stood for I could correct the style to "Dr Sir J____ Ratcliffe, ________ ___________ Professor of __________" Yorkshire Phoenix United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland God's own county 23:46, 14 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
