Links mislabeled
[edit]The links in the section "Available PDB structures" don't go to any of the PDB sites, but to PDBsum. I suggest renaming the section to "Links to PDBsum" and adding another section that redirects to the PDB, similar to what is available for many other protein related pages, e.g. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SHC1 (one of the proteins that has a SH2 like domain). --Andorsch (talk) 05:47, 26 February 2011 (UTC)
- PDBsum is probably the best single page summary of PDB structure entries available. So I think that it is a good link to use in Wikipedia. But it is probably best that these links are all consistent within Wikipedia. So I would suggest changing the links to the RCSB PDB website. Alexbateman (talk) 12:58, 28 February 2011 (UTC)
I think there are 122 human proteins containing SH2 - not 111 as article says
[edit]I think there are 122 known human proteins containing SH2 - not 111 as article says There are however 111 for which experimental interaction data is available. This is a link to the article i'm basing my idea on: http://www.nature.com/ng/journal/vaop/ncurrent/full/ng.3138.html (that's all I know about the topic)
if that's the case then 111 needs to be changed to 122 and the citation needs to be changed.
External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on SH2 domain. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive http://web.archive.org/web/20090707043920/http://genetics.uchc.edu:80/faculty/mayer_linkpage.htm to http://genetics.uchc.edu/faculty/mayer_linkpage.htm
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}
).

Revisions
[edit]I just combined three sections of the old article into a single "Structure and interactions" section and added a few new references. The previous version did not cite many sources, was worded confusingly, and contained many redundant passages. I think the article is cleaner now but it could still use a simple summary in the lede...as it stands now only a biochemist could understand the article. WeirdNAnnoyed (talk) 17:43, 5 July 2023 (UTC)
