According to a Google search for SCLC, the top links are for the Southern Christian Leadership Conference.
If we cannot agree about which article SCLC should redirect to, I propose that we make this page the disambiguation page. — Malik Shabazz (talk · contribs) 16:44, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
- Hi Malik. According to Google trends, small cell lung cancer is a much more sought after subject. If you feel redirecting to small-cell lung carcinoma still isn't warranted, redirecting to the disambiguation page is a good compromise. 85.235.225.74 (talk) 21:33, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
I think the Civil Rights group should go in front of the city
[edit]San Cristobal de las Casas is the 98th largest municipality in Mexico, and the acronym SCLC is not prominent enough to be used once on either its English or Spanish pages. Meanwhile, the SCLC led by Dr. King is arguably the most important group of the American Civil Rights movement, and is primarily known by its acronym. This n-gram shows the overwhelming preponderance of the Civil Rights group over the Mexican city in the English corpus (~500 to 1). If this page were bilingual and there was significant evidence the acronym SCLC was used very commonly with San Cristobal de las Casas, then I think we should consider international fairness when ordering the list. However, because of the much greater prominence the organization has than the city, I think it is clear that the Southern Christian Leadership Conference should go above San Cristobal. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 140.160.117.97 (talk) 09:17, 24 March 2019 (UTC)
