SBS: Sequencing by Synthesis

[edit]

SBS, Sequencing By Synthesis, is a new technology for massively parallel DNA sequencing, gene expression and gene control analysis. Details plus a graphic explanation of existing technology is available at Solexa.com. Would a web link be possible? 4.20.166.106 20:36, 14 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

SBS: Special Boat Service/Special Boat Section/Special Balkans Service

[edit]

To whomsoever saw fit to delete and unhelpfully compress the previously supplied disambiguation on the TLIs under reference-Please, desist and use a bit more thought and consideration. Throughout the Wikipedia (and on the web in general as of writing) there is apparent confusion as to the provenance and history of the expansion and usage which is why the disambiguation was provided by this contributor based on good, solid and verifiable public sources. 81.19.57.130 12:16, 24 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is a disambiguation page which is intended only to provide links to other articles not to provide information in and of itself. The appropriate place for this info is in the Special Boat Service article, not here. -- Necrothesp 13:45, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
