Cleanup
[edit]I've tried to improve the English language and phrasing of this article, hope it is OK. There are two technical points where I have checked with the original German article and have hopefully used the correct translations:
- electrical brake "wechselstromerregte Widerstandsbremse" -> "AC excited resistor brake", taking the standard meaning of "wechselstrom" to mean AC.
- "Stufenschalter-Überschläge" to mean an electrical flashover (one possible meaning of "Überschläge") at the step switch - nothing to do with track points (switches) as may have appeared from the original.
The phrase "Shortly thereafter the Ae 4/8 disappeared from the rosters", although an accurate translation, doesn't seem to fit in with the narrative so I have removed it. Threefoursixninefour (talk) 08:00, 14 June 2014 (UTC)
