Persistent introduction of deliberate factual errors

The article has been persistently vandalized by WP:UNREGISTERED users, deliberately changing the year of SB19's formation/debut year from 2018 to 2011 or 2012. Multiple cited sources in the article already support the fact that the group was established and debuted in 2016 and 2018 respectively. Below is a table of all revisions that deliberately changed the said information as of this writing:

Fandom wikis for the group have also been victims of this kind of vandalism (sb19.fandom.com, ppop.fandom.com). This page should be placed under WP:SEMI protection if further deliberate edits have been made. It may actually need protection now since these edits have been consistently made this past week. I'm inviting interested editors and maintainers of articles for this group for feedback. AstrooKai (Talk) 07:32, 11 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, AstrooKai! Thanks for bringing up the issue. I agree. I think this article needs to be semi-protected with the amount of persistent disruptive IP editing of the page, especially since the article is a BLP with substantial reader interest. Hello, @Relayed! Glad to know you are on board on this. Yes, I think we should file a request considering the number of instances in the past week and the fact that fandom wikis for the group have become victims of this too. It's best to have the page semi-protected temporarily since the revisions are done in the lead section of the page, which is what readers see first.
