The S. E Tuma Trophy was awarded within a Senior A hockey league that was definitely not a beer league. It was and continues to be a semi-pro league, with paid players and coaches. Champions played in the Allan Cup playdowns which is national senior hockey championships. sherwood5030 (4:58, 12 December 2017 (ET)

What about a "semi-pro" trophy qualifies this for an article? The LNAH pays more, and its trophies aren't notable. Notability not being inherited, that the provincial champions play for the Allan Cup has no bearing on the notability of provincial trophies. Ravenswing 23:08, 12 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
While Wikipedia has articles like Barbie's careers and Toilet paper orientation, which I consider fluff and less notable, maybe millions find it wikipedia-worthy. Good for them. My article in question is merely sharing info on a 50-year old trophy that means alot to a certain proud few. I don't know what else to say, and I don't know why anyone would be so delete-happy so close to Christmas. Perhaps it belongs in a more worthy home. cheers. sherwood5030 (6:27, 12 December 2017 (ET)
