Michael Palin's Pole to Pole

[edit]

This ship was featured in the BBC series 'Pole to Pole' by Michael Palin. Should that be mentioned in the article? Some nice trivia, I think! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.208.105.1 (talk) 15:41, 20 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Name of the vessel

[edit]

The name of the SA Agulhas is written as S.A. Agulhas on the side of the vessel [1]. Also, STX Europe, the builder of the SA Agulhas II, refers to the ship as the S.A. Agulhas II [2][3]. What are the official names of these vessels? Based on the links I've posted, I propose moving this article to S.A. Agulhas and the one about the new ship S.A. Agulhas II. Changed name to S.A. Agulhas and edited article accordingly. Tupsumato (talk) 19:52, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Do spaces and full stops really make a meaningful difference? I've seen all sorts of variations in media sources. Roger (talk) 16:59, 6 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Well, there's only one correct way to write the name of the vessel and that's the only one we should use here at Wikipedia. Media sources can call it whatever they want. Tupsumato (talk) 20:18, 6 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
