Wednesday, May 8, 2013 THE police station chief of Badian town will be investigated after he allegedly failed to file a case against a barangay councilor who was accused of shooting a man last month. Senior Supt. Patrocinio Comendador, head of the Cebu Provincial Police Office (CPPO), ordered the Provincial Investigation and Detective Management Branch (PIDMB) to conduct a fact-finding investigation against Insp. Reyco Romaguera. “We will look into what lapses he committed and what administrative liability will be charged against him,” he told reporters Basketball The shooting incident happened last April 7. Barangay Councilor Ariel Avenido allegedly shot and killed Alexander Election, 34, in Barangay Malabago. Election came from watching a basketball game and was on his way home when he was attacked. The victim was rushed to Badian District Hospital. But he died of gunshot wounds in his chest and abdomen.§
