Issues?

[edit]

Palmsandbeaches could you explain the issues to me? There's two citations in it. And I don't get why the neutrality of the article is disputed, I'm not him. User:Tetizeraz. Send me a ✉️ ! 09:40, 28 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hey User:Tetizeraz! I am having trouble establishing the reliability and independence of the sources you have cited. The tone in the following phrase 'where he covered the attack on the twin towers to Barack Obama's first election' appears promotional to me. The subject, from what it reads, has definitely done significant work. Adding more reliable sources and editing out the promotional tone will be helpful! You might want to list the most important articles he published as a Journalist in reputed publications to establish his notability as a journalist further.

Isn't the published book enough? Maybe I could mention he was a columnist too, but I need sources. User:Tetizeraz. Send me a ✉️ ! 09:50, 28 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hey User:Tetizeraz, simply publishing a book is surely not enough. If you want to take that route, you need to establish that this published work is discussed extensively and in depth. You can do so by adding reviews of the books published at reliable publications.

Palmsandbeaches I'm going to wait for a second wikipedian to review this article. I think there's enough source coverage in this article. User:Tetizeraz. Send me a ✉️ ! 10:00, 28 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Ser Amantio di Nicolao: sorry to ping you, but could you check this article, please? Thank you. User:Tetizeraz. Send me a ✉️ ! 10:02, 28 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@John B123: Just saw that you reviewed this article, could you comment on the issue above? Thanks User:Tetizeraz. Send me a ✉️ ! 10:21, 28 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Tetizeraz: I can't see what the issue over POV was. Dávila is a recognised author as witnessed by Library of Congress listings etc. (see authority control on the page). I would note that Palmsandbeaches has now been blocked. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 11:14, 28 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
