As far as this article is concerned, all three need to be corrected. Peter Horn 01:58, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
I have had a go at creating an idiomatic text. However in some places I could not understand what the author was trying to say - perhaps because I am not a railway engineer. So I have left some parts unchanged and only made changes that I was fairly sure about. I was defeated by:
declivity,
"wagons pulled by steel handles"
"force and a machine would have mounted the vapor, to promote the traction of the handles"
the logic of "The road was constructed without explosives, therefore the land was very unstable" (how does simple construction make the land unstable?)
"Coffee was carried to Porto de Santos." (this is probably an important economic fact but I don't know - it needs to say)
"Endless Hope, or without-end" (too technical for me)
Hope that is some help!!! Budhen (talk) 17:23, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
- Well, I took the liberty to remove the rough translation box since I reviewed the articel and fixed the last translation faults refering to switch-backs, which never had been used by this railway. All the point mentioned above have been fixed allready before my edit.--Pechristener (talk) 21:17, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
