Reputable Sources
[edit]https://moneyinvestexpert.com/dividend-aristocrats/dividend-aristocrats-changes should not be used as a source, as it is erroneous.
Please properly reference that SYK has been booted from the list, if it is the case and not an error. Very sloppy edits. 190.237.181.197 (talk) 00:12, 26 January 2022 (UTC)
ETF?
[edit]@3knolls Is it really an investment recommendation to mention an ETF? I saw S&P 500 has an entire section on how to invest in it. Winston (talk) 09:32, 24 January 2024 (UTC)
- The point is that a statement like "Proshares offers NOBL, which proclaims itself as the only ETF focusing exclusively on the S&P 500 Dividend Aristocrats" should at least be totally rewritten, and would also require a third-party source. Otherwise it appears to be an ad.--3knolls (talk) 09:43, 24 January 2024 (UTC)
- OK then. I will cite it from the NYSE website. Also, the S&P 500 article has similar wordings: "Direxion offers leveraged ETFs which attempt to produce three times the daily return of either investing in (NYSE Arca: SPXL) or shorting (NYSE Arca: SPXS) the S&P 500 index.", and it cites directly from Direxion website. Maybe that ought to be changed as well Winston (talk) 10:57, 24 January 2024 (UTC)
