Issue with Wumao rhetoric.

[edit]

The part claiming that Okinawan people have an issue with "Japanese" rule is contextually false. Because Okinawan peoples are Japanese people (except just on an island farther away than the other islands). They are not genetically Chinese (which this Wumao written page wants users to assume), the genetics of Okinawan peoples are of Japanese native Jomon, mixed with Yayoi Korean DNA (the exact same DNA mixture as people in the larger islands of Japan).

In fact the Japanese Jomon DNA is high in Okinawa, it is as high as in specific high zones in Japan such as Iwate, Kagoshima etc. Where Okinawan peoples and these other prefectural peoples cluster the farthest away from Chinese people genetically out of anyone in Japan. So Wumao wanting to imply that Okinawans are somehow Chinese on Wikipedia pages really needs to be monitored more properly by mods. Because Okinawans are some of the least genetically Chinese people out of anyone in Japan (and are some of the most uniquely Japanese people out of anyone in Japan).

The highest Chinese shifting DNA is in Kinki region prefectures, however it isn't a result of direct Chinese mixture, it is a result of a very high Yayoi Korean component, in which Koreans themselves cluster close to Chinese (thus making these Japanese who are very highly Yayoi Korean, and low in Japanese Jomon DNA, cluster very close to Koreans and also somewhat close to Chinese).

BTW China didn't create the kingdoms of the Okinawan prefecture either, China first gained contact with these kingdoms in the 14th century, where they were able to get the primary kingdom based mostly on the main island of Okinawa to pay tribute to China, in order to attain trading rights with China, this was done under the Ming dynasty. Some cultural influence obviously did cross over at this time.

However, these kingdoms long predate the 14th century, they aren't Chinese kingdoms, and China never owned these islands. The most China ever had was a tributary deal (that doesn't mean it's China's land or people).

Wikipedia needs to crack down on the Wumao and their incessant edits and attempts to promote pro-CCP rhetoric across various pages. 118.210.124.142 (talk) 00:59, 29 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
