Apology
[edit]Sorry for adding Harrison Ford's recent crash landing in a Ryan ST. I didn't realize it didn't meet WP:AIRCRASH. Thanks, Ahunt. Clearly, I still have a lot to learn about editing Wikipedia.

Major Refactor
[edit]Would anyone have an issue with me refactoring this page to move most of the information directly related to the PT-22 to that respective page? Although the PT-22 was developed from the ST it is a substantially different plane. Thanks! sjanicki —Preceding undated comment added 18:31, 10 August 2017 (UTC)

Air Force and Air Corps
[edit]My father explained very clearly that he was in the Air Force but in the Medical Corps, not the Air Corps, the Force including other specialties and the Corps including only soldiers with aviation related duties. It is unlikely that he could have been wrong about what branches of service he belonged to, and I remember his words almost verbatim. He was in the Army during most of the war, and did not mention these names having changed in any way. He wore an Air Force Patch on his shoulder.— Preceding unsigned comment added by David R. - David, while you are technically correct, for all intents and purposes the USAAF replaced the USAAC as the top-level organization within the Army for aircraft operations, and thus can be considered its successor. - BilCat (talk) 20:44, 18 May 2018 (UTC)
