Date of birth
[edit]Does anyone know Ryan's exact date of birth? I can't find it anywhere! Thanks. ~xenc. 13:29, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
Yes Anthony Ryan Leslie was born 9/25/1978

Biography
[edit]This entry is almost as ridiculous as Cassie's. Who put Ryan Leslie "DID NOT" graduate from Harvard? Good job. And why is it at all pertinent that Harlem is a "predominantly black neighborhood"? You might as well put "and also near Columbia University." Also, there are no citations for his majors in political science and macroecon, and there is no citation for the fact that he graduated at 19. Keipop 07:16, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
Controversy Section
[edit]I re-added the "Controversy" section that was blanked without explanation or discussion by an anonymous user back in October [1]. The only reason I noticed is because I helped edit that section as IP address 69.146.35.0. I'm not positive the section merits inclusion in this article, but I think it's probably worthy of some debate/discussion. After all, if you Google "Ryan Leslie YouTube," the first hit is an article on the "controversy." See Jay (talk) 09:58, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
I've restored this text again because it is not relevant if boh3m3 hates Leslie, as stated in the edit summary "Hater content removed". It is relevant that the information is referenced by a VIBE news blurb. --Geniac (talk) 12:30, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
Colleges to which Ryan Leslie was accepted
[edit]Minor point here, but this page says that the only college Leslie wasn't accepted into was Stanford (as corroborated by this source, and article in New York: http://nymag.com/news/features/24094/) because the university thought he was too young.
However, in the following interview with HipHopDx.com, Leslie states that it was Yale which did not accept him - again, because they thought he was too young (http://www.hiphopdx.com/index/interviews/id.1190/title.ryan-leslie-school-was-my-hustle).
I don't know if one is considered a more reliable source than the other. However, he goes into some detail about his acceptance to Stanford in the latter interview, mentioning that picking Stanford would mean he would be going to college too close to home etc. - in light of this, I would say that the real facts are that he didn't get into Yale, not Stanford.

Article issues
[edit]Lots of problems with this; things that happened in 2012 re: 'Les is More' referred to in present tense, lack of sources for POV statements, etc. Someone familiar with this artist would be needed to get this up to standard; I've never heard of him. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.109.202.38 (talk) 00:47, 15 October 2019 (UTC)
