How did Ruth unite Latin America, and who are the other two? Demf 18:52, 21 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It is said that Ruth Feranadez along with singers Libertad Lamarque and Pedro Vargas through their music united Latin America. This statement is attributed to the "Comisiones Nacionales para la Celebración del Quinto Centenario" which paid them tribute. Tony the Marine 03:34, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

DOB?

Ruth Fernandez reportedly turned 90 a few weeks ago (May 2007). She was given a small birthday party attended by many friends, including Chucho Avellanet, Shorty Castro, and William Miranda Marín, among others. Her mind is fading, but she still remembers quite a bit from her early days. However, the article states she was born in 1919. Is the date correct? Demf 21:00, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
