How is it possible????
[edit]How is it possible that a university that dates back to 1766 seems to be devoid of traditions? That can't be possible. I hope we can find some. This is embarrassing for such a wonderful institution rich with history!--Brianlowy (talk) 22:40, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
Traditions need not be ancient ones!
[edit]There are newer traditions and customs at Rutgers, too, including at least one annual movement that began at Rutgers. So I put those in. — Rickyrab. Yada yada yada 23:39, 27 April 2013 (UTC)
Proposed merger
[edit]I propose that both Rutgers Agricultural Field Day and Rutgers Day be merged into this article. They are both short articles about traditions/events at Rutgers, and I see no reason why they both need their own standalone articles. Champaign Supernova (talk) 02:39, 27 October 2016 (UTC)
- A better target for the Agricultural field day would seem to be the school which runs it, the Rutgers School of Environmental and Biological Sciences. Klbrain (talk) 21:10, 21 May 2018 (UTC)
- Completed merge for Rutgers Day. Klbrain (talk) 20:43, 1 July 2018 (UTC)
- Completed for Rutgers Agricultural Field Day. Klbrain (talk) 13:22, 15 August 2019 (UTC)
- Completed merge for Rutgers Day. Klbrain (talk) 20:43, 1 July 2018 (UTC)
