[edit]March 2: added categories of forgeries. Will attempt to find some illustrations as well. Links and literature references would be nice...anyone?
Move article
[edit]Portions of this article could be merged into Philatelic fakes and forgeries; some might belong in Postage stamps and postal history of Russia; then delete what remains. One could write an article just on forgeries of Russia, but this is too general and doesn't seem to be heading down that road. Ecphora (talk) 19:50, 3 August 2008 (UTC)
Turned it into an article just about Russian forgeries as several specific examples were already given. Will add more soon. Maidonian (talk) 07:14, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
Russia vs USSR
[edit]Should we distinguish between these two entities, and create two separate articles, or just add USSR to title? Arno-nl (talk) 08:28, 31 March 2015 (UTC)
- @Arno-nl: @Philafrenzy: I would agree with this suggestion. Should we proceed with article separation or discuss it further at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Philately? --Michael Romanov (talk) 12:58, 24 March 2016 (UTC)
