List inclusion criteria is not workable
I was hoping to find clarification in the talk archives or edit history, but no luck so far - has no-one else noticed the impossible inclusion criteria in the lead? It reads "The Russian oligarchs are business oligarchs of the former Soviet republics who rapidly accumulated wealth during the era of Russian privatization in the aftermath of the dissolution of the Soviet Union in the 1990s." If our definition is someone who became rich after the dissolution of the Soviet Union, how can we also include all pre-1990s oligarchs of the former Soviet republic? In a post-Soviet world, such people are defined by their actual nationality (Georgian oligarchs, Armenian oligarchs, etc.). Maybe a page could be made for Oligarchs of post-Soviet states, though I don't see how that would be too useful.24.234.234.21 (talk) 14:57, 29 March 2018 (UTC)
Reference #1 is not currently a dead link
If it was dead, it isn't any more, as of 4/18/2018. I'd like to fix it, but I'm not sure how. I'm new here. I'd appreciate any guidance. Thank you GGSloth (talk) 22:16, 18 April 2018 (UTC)
