- Changes
The following are changes I made, apart from any light ce I might have done, to the text.
- "Gangut ([Гангут] Error: {{Langx}}: text has italic markup (help)) was the lead ship of the Gangut-class battleships of the Imperial Russian Navy built before World War I, although she was the last to be completed." → I thought it flowed better as follows, "Gangut ([Гангут] Error: {{Langx}}: text has italic markup (help)) was both the lead ship of the Gangut-class battleships of the Imperial Russian Navy built before World War I and the last of her class to be completed."
- Comments
Here are some comments on the text.
- "The Russians did not believe that superfiring turrets offered any advantage, discounting the value of axial fire..." → The language is a bit technical. Maybe you can make a quick note explaining what axial fire is — in a set of em dashes.
- "She completed with only a single 3-inch (76 mm) 30-caliber Lender anti-aircraft (AA) gun mounted on the quarterdeck." → "She completed with..." sounds a bit awkward, I think.
- "Conway's says that four 75-millimeter (3.0 in) were added to the roofs of the end turrets during the war." → Four 75-millimeter what?
- Other
-
- Prose is clear and concise.
- Article is stable.
- File:Gangutlayboard1909.jpg → The tag is fine, but you might want to replace the older tag with the new pd-old template.
Looks good. The above are just suggestions. JonCatalán(Talk) 22:39, 7 October 2010 (UTC)
