musings
[edit]Having just visited the monument two days ago, I have to say that the entire thing is unremarkable. The Austrian border is quite close, with a guard post that had no one there when I visited (I invaded and then quickly left). The tourist information makes the whole thing seem like it was Soviet bunch of troops who mistakenly (or something) entered the country. The various guidebooks and other material that I had also didn't mention anything except for Russian troops.
Anyway, I have a better photo that I will upload sometime that can then be used.
One final thing, should this really be part of Project Switzerland? After all Liechtenstein is a separate country... -- I ate jelly -- 12:02, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
