Wagner Group

[edit]

Is there any evidence that Rusich Group is somehow linked or is a part of the Wagner group? Thanks in advance. Rgx pa (talk) 17:49, 9 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Nope, zero! 2A00:801:409:A941:5881:4F91:FCDD:B1A5 (talk) 22:49, 11 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Detension in Finland already from July 20th

[edit]

In August 2023, Finnish media reported that Petrovski had been detained in Finland, following an extradition request from Ukraine. Channels associated with the Wagner group claimed that he was detained on 20 July.[1] 82.194.220.91 (talk) 14:52, 25 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Possible addition

[edit]

Found this article by Bellingcat group talking about possible beheadings committed by a Rusich member in Syria https://www.bellingcat.com/news/2024/01/23/the-man-in-the-matching-uniform-investigating-a-rusich-atrocity-in-syria/ Justanotherguy54 (talk) 09:47, 2 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Extended-confirmed-protected edit request on 21 August 2024

[edit]

There are two are two changes I would like to be made: 1) Rusich is affiliated with neo-pagan and ONA Satanist groups.

Instead: Rusich is affiliated with neo-pagan groups.

There is nothing in the references that are cited that states it's affiliated to ONA groups. All that is mentioned is sacrifices to Slavic gods. If someone could find a sources stating links to ONA or an affiliate, then that would be great.

2)

External videos
video icon Captured Ukrainian soldier was beheaded by Russian war criminals from DShRG «Rusich»
The external videos section under the "Invasion of Ukraine" is unnecessary and it should be removed. Why is special attention brought to that gory video? Why not others? Also another source in the same section links to that video. No need for a special shout-out.

At least the first one should actually be done. Guestbehest (talk) 16:58, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Rusich is part of a coalition of nazi groups that includes ONA satanist groups, according to "Putin's Stealth Mobilization" by New America and "Vanguard of a White Empire: Rusich, the Russian Imperial Movement, and Russia's War of Terror" by Center for Homeland Defense and Security Rusich "overlaps" with Atomwaffen Division. Both are linked in the article.RKT7789 (talk) 04:57, 22 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  1.  Not done: Sources show a connection between Rusich and ONA through their mutual association with Atomwaffen Division.
  2.  Not done for now: please establish a consensus for this alteration before using the {{Edit extended-protected}} template. As a reminder, Wikipedia is not censored, and the fact that a video is gory is not a valid reason for exclusion. If you have other videos you would like to add, feel free to open another edit request. Bowler the Carmine | talk 20:01, 4 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
After further research, Rusich is also tight with Nordic Resistance Movement which Petrovsky was a member of, and NRM is also affiliated with ONA.RKT7789 (talk) 06:06, 5 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Atomwaffen

[edit]

Since it is known that members of Atomwaffen were training with the Azov,[1] and that "Atomwaffen has found itself ideologically aligned with broader armed white nationalist groups, including a group known as Azov Battalion"[2] I would like to understand why White, Daniel J. claims they are on the Rusich side instead. Is he confusing different organisations? Mhorg (talk) 09:41, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Mhorg: Plenty of sources state Atomwaffen supports both. Atomwaffen has been trained by Russian Imperial Movement also, even their leader Kaleb Cole visited RIM training camps. Fascists are opportunists. Understanding this is necessary to understanding fascist mindset.RKT7789 (talk) 09:54, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you @RKT7789. Perhaps this "Atomwaffen Division Russland" is a different (or independent) from the Atomwaffen Division? Mhorg (talk) 20:40, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
All AWD chapters act independently of one another, it's the whole idea of decentralized terror cells. I'm not doubting you that some are aligned with Azov, but a lot are definitely pro-Russia, and these aren't mutually exclusive. Also like I said, fascism lacks a rigid ideology and they are just opportunists. A lot of AWD members are also trained by US Armed Forces, they'll take training from wherever they can.RKT7789 (talk) 02:01, 11 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The Atomwaffen article does not seem to mention this decentralisation. It would be very useful for the reader to know this. I also think it is important to specify that it is AWRussland that has a relationship with Rusich and not the others. Mhorg (talk) 08:35, 11 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Well, it mentions the different cells with their respective leaders, so it can be inferred, but its not explicitly stated, you're right. At least some Americans support Rusich and have received training in Russia like I mentioned, but I have no idea how Rusich figures into this.RKT7789 (talk) 09:36, 11 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Mhorg: I acknowledge that this cannot be used on the page as this is my personal detective work, but Rusich guys did visit Camp Lejeune that has an AWD presence, and there were some quite profilic arrests a few years ago: https://vk.com/wall-221397702_378 (https://archive.is/PPq5n) RKT7789 (talk) 11:02, 11 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This is interesting, thank you Mhorg (talk) 11:07, 11 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Kolovrat is not a slavic swastika.

[edit]

Kolovrat is a wheel symbol that has been used since pre-history. Just because a few extremists on the fringe make some posts online using a certain image, or take a picture of flag in a warzone, does not change the meaning of something that has roots going back thousands of years and used by countless people since then. This is a western media boondoggle of a talking point. 2601:18D:8A80:6AA0:FBBD:F67:302F:9A4 (talk) 14:18, 6 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
