Hello, I am planning on reviewing this article for GA Status, over the next couple of days. Thank you for nominating the article for GA status. I hope I will learn some new information, and that my feedback is helpful.
If nominators or editors could refrain from updating the particular section that I am updating until it is complete, I would appreciate it to remove a edit conflict. Please address concerns in the section that has been completed above (If I've raised concerns up to references, feel free to comment on things like the lede.)
I generally provide an overview of things I read through the article on a first glance. Then do a thorough sweep of the article after the feedback is addressed. After this, I will present the pass/failure. I will use strikethrough tags when concerns are met. Even if something is obvious why my concern is met, please leave a message as courtesy.
Best of luck! you can also use the {{done}} tag to state when something is addressed. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 11:18, 21 February 2018 (UTC)
Please let me know after the review is done, if you were happy with the review! Obviously this is regarding the article's quality, however, I want to be happy and civil to all, so let me know if I have done a good job, regardless of the article's outcome.
Immediate Failures
[edit]It is a long way from meeting any one of the six good article criteria
-It contains copyright infringements
- CopyVio check comes up cleanIt has, or needs, cleanup banners that are unquestionably still valid. These include{{cleanup}}, {{POV}}, {{unreferenced}} or large numbers of {{citation needed}}, {{clarify}}, or similar tags. (See also {{QF-tags}}).
- No tags in articleIt is not stable due to edit warring on the page.
- No notice of edit warring.
First impressions
[edit]I will go into more detail later, however, on first inspection, here's what I see:
- Does Personal life go at the top of the page? I've only ever seen it at the bottom of articles on BLPs.Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 11:37, 8 January 2019 (UTC) - Done MPJ-DK (talk) 00:52, 11 January 2019 (UTC)
- I've moved this to the bottom of the prose. Seems a better fit Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 09:15, 11 January 2019 (UTC)
- The lede is a little disjointed. For example "Currently working for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL)" isn't a sentence. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 11:37, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
- No information on how he got into wrestling at all? Just that he started wrestling at International Wrestling Revolution Group. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 11:37, 8 January 2019 (UTC) - Done MPJ-DK (talk) 01:15, 11 January 2019 (UTC)
- Paragraphs are huge. I'm sure you simply want to keep all the same information in one paragraph, but throughout the article, these are huge. The Early years (2009–2011) is particularly huge.Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 11:37, 8 January 2019 (UTC) - Done MPJ-DK (talk) 00:52, 11 January 2019 (UTC)
- The CMLL sub-section should also contain the times that he was there (2009-Present). Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 11:37, 8 January 2019 (UTC) - Done MPJ-DK (talk) 01:15, 11 January 2019 (UTC)
- Rush doesn't appear on the {{Major League Wrestling personnel}}, so shouldn't have the template. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 11:37, 8 January 2019 (UTC) - Done MPJ-DK (talk) 01:15, 11 January 2019 (UTC)
I hope this doesn't seem too harsh, and I'll go into the main prose when I have time. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 11:37, 8 January 2019 (UTC)

Prose
[edit]Lede
[edit]- "luchador or professional wrestler" - Is he not both? Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 10:56, 10 January 2019 (UTC)
- Meant to indicate that "luchador is Spanish for professional wrestler". MPJ-DK (talk) 22:50, 10 January 2019 (UTC)
- Is the rewording better?? MPJ-DK (talk) 23:07, 10 January 2019 (UTC)
- "brothers also work for the promotion under masks" - for those not in the know, should say
work for the promotion as masked wrestlers
. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 10:56, 10 January 2019 (UTC) - DoneMPJ-DK (talk) 22:57, 10 January 2019 (UTC) - " his in ring actions is often chaotic and brawling," - grammar
his in ring actions are often chaotic or brawling
Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 10:56, 10 January 2019 (UTC) - DoneMPJ-DK (talk) 22:57, 10 January 2019 (UTC) - " Mexican National Trios Champion.Rush," - needs a space Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 10:56, 10 January 2019 (UTC) - DoneMPJ-DK (talk) 22:57, 10 January 2019 (UTC)
- "group Los Ingobernables ("The Unruly")" - Translation shouldn't be a proper noun. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 10:56, 10 January 2019 (UTC) - Question: - even if it translates a proper noun?? MPJ-DK (talk) 22:54, 10 January 2019 (UTC)
- Indeed. I'm pretty sure that's how it works - Fine if proven wrong. You do also use it with {{técnico ("Face", or those that portray the good guys}}, considering "face" is a descriptive term, and not a proper noun regardless. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 09:25, 11 January 2019 (UTC)
- "original member to still part of the group" -
remain part of the group
Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 10:56, 10 January 2019 (UTC) - Done MPJ-DK (talk) 23:09, 10 January 2019 (UTC) - The success of Los Ingobernables led to the formation of Los Ingobernables de Japon - Should probably mention these are promotions. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 10:56, 10 January 2019 (UTC) - Done I think. MPJ-DK (talk) 22:56, 10 January 2019 (UTC)
- U.S. - Say American, I believe this is against something in wiki MOS, but I can't find it. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 10:56, 10 January 2019 (UTC) - Question: are you suggesting it reads "the American based Ring of Honor"? MPJ-DK (talk) 22:53, 10 January 2019 (UTC)
- You can use United States, just fine. See MOS:NOTUSA for reasonings. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 09:25, 11 January 2019 (UTC)
- Lede is good outside of this. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 10:56, 10 January 2019 (UTC)
career
[edit]- No information on before IWRG, like his training? Should mention that he was 21 when he debuted. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 11:09, 10 January 2019 (UTC)
- I will do some research to see what I can find and source. MPJ-DK (talk) 22:58, 10 January 2019 (UTC)
- Found some details, added them. Done MPJ-DK (talk) 01:15, 11 January 2019 (UTC)
- Any source of his name "Rouge"? Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 11:09, 10 January 2019 (UTC) - Done Yes there is, it is already in the info box. MPJ-DK (talk) 00:51, 11 January 2019 (UTC)
- I'll say it here so I don't need to later, these sections really need to be split into paragraphs. A perfect place in the second sub-section is after the hair match. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 11:09, 10 January 2019 (UTC) - Done I think?? MPJ-DK (talk) 23:21, 10 January 2019 (UTC)
- "In May, Rush started feuding with New Japan Pro Wrestling representative Yujiro Takahashi, which built to a match on June 5, where Rush successfully defended the CMLL World Light Heavyweight Championship against his rival" - replace rival with his name Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 11:09, 10 January 2019 (UTC) - Done MPJ-DK (talk) 23:02, 10 January 2019 (UTC)
- "In November, Rush was sidelined from in-ring action, after breaking two bones in his ankle" - For being such a big deal, it should have some information as to how he did it - Was it in ring, at home, during a freak meteorshower? etc. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 11:09, 10 January 2019 (UTC) - I wish it was a meteorshower, that would make a great DYK hook ;-) I clarified from the source that it was during a match. MPJ-DK (talk) 00:51, 11 January 2019 (UTC)
- " On May 15, it was reported that Muñoz was in legal trouble" -
in May
Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 11:09, 10 January 2019 (UTC) - Done MPJ-DK (talk) 23:02, 10 January 2019 (UTC) - including the main even of IWRG's Triangular en Jaula ("Triangle in a cage") - no capital on the translation. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 11:12, 10 January 2019 (UTC) - Done MPJ-DK (talk) 23:02, 10 January 2019 (UTC)
- Los Ingobernables de Japon (2015–present) - Why is this all in italics? Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 11:12, 10 January 2019 (UTC)
- I see it now, that was an error - Done MPJ-DK (talk) 23:11, 10 January 2019 (UTC)
- Through CMLL's partnership with the US-based Ring of Honor Rush made his debut for ROH on December 15, 2018 - (ROH) needs to be added as abbrev. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 11:12, 10 January 2019 (UTC) - Done MPJ-DK (talk) 23:02, 10 January 2019 (UTC)
Professional wrestling persona
[edit]- First paragraph needs more citations, Doing... especially for winning the award. - Done MPJ-DK (talk) 01:15, 11 January 2019 (UTC)
- Face and heel need to be explained here, as you've used the mexican versions for the rest of the article. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 11:16, 10 January 2019 (UTC) - Done I think. MPJ-DK (talk) 23:05, 10 January 2019 (UTC)

- Lee Vilenski technically the omission of Rush on the Major League Wrestling personnel template says more about the template than this article. I did however add him to the template. MPJ-DK (talk) 00:10, 9 January 2019 (UTC)
- Personally, I'm not really sure how the roster of this promotion, and the associated article are particularly notable, but that's not a topic for this GA. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 08:34, 9 January 2019 (UTC)
- Article placed on hold. Biggest issues for me are the paragraph layout (4-5 sentences is a paragraph, generally), and some of the wording above. Gramatically, when doing a translation, in brackets, it should still be in lower case. I'll keep this open for a while for the user to update the article/respond. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 11:22, 10 January 2019 (UTC)
- Lee Vilenski - I think I have addressed all your concerns? MPJ-DK (talk) 01:15, 11 January 2019 (UTC)
- Sure, I've made a few changes myself to the article, as clear typo in lead, and wikilinking face and heel in the persona section, as well as move the personal life below this section. I think it fits GA standard now. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 09:35, 11 January 2019 (UTC)
